Ron Simon Has Collected Millions of Dollars for Clients in Prior Peanut Butter Salmonella Litigation
In recent years, it has become clear that improperly manufactured peanut butter can serve as a vehicle for salmonella contamination.
Peanut Butter Salmonella lawyer Ron Simon has been at the forefront of this fight from the beginning. Mr. Simon represented hundreds of victims who suffered severe salmonella poisoning after consuming Peter Pan and Great Value peanut butter made by ConAgra Foods Inc. in 2006-2007. He also represented hundreds of victims in the 2008-2009Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) outbreak—which was responsible for nine deaths and over 700 illnesses.
In both outbreaks, Mr. Simon’s clients were compensatedfor their injuries with settlements totaling millions of dollars.
In addition, Mr. Simon has twice been to congressional hearings in Washington, D.C. to present evidence, witnesses, and testimony concerning the safety measures necessary to keep peanut butter safe for consumers. These efforts have led to positive changes in the way peanut butter is manufactured in the United States.
