A recall first initiated on April 12, 2025 by Upper Crust Bakery LP, based in Glenn Dale, Maryland, for Ancient Grains Hoagie Roll, Multigrain Sourdough, and Whole Grain Multigrain breads due to contamination with glass remains ongoing. Background The recall was announced after glass fragments were found on top of the bread. No press release was issued for the recall. The company has not yet released how the contamination with glass was discovered.
